At Kiser Creek Whitetail, our goal is simple: provide every guest with a solid, ethical, and successful hunting experience. We believe the best way to help new hunters grow and succeed in Pike County, Illinois is through guidance and opportunity—not fines or penalties.

For first-time and less-experienced hunters:
You can hunt with confidence knowing you’re not alone. Our experienced team will work closely with you throughout your hunt—helping you understand deer movement, shot selection, and harvest decisions. We’re here to educate, encourage, and support you every step of the way so you can enjoy a stress-free and rewarding experience in the field.

To maintain herd quality and ensure a premier hunting experience, we follow these harvest guidelines:

  • Minimum harvested buck: 8 points, 130” or larger

  • We strongly encourage harvesting a 150”+ buck.
    As a reward, hunters who do so will be added to a drawing for a chance to receive $1,000 off their next year booked hunt with KCW.    ​

 

Please note: License, Habitat Stamp, and Permit are not included in hunt pricing.

Booking Policy and Deposits
 

PAYMENT DUE DATES:

  • All hunt reservations require a booking contract and a 50% of the hunt cost per hunter at the time of booking

  • Remaining hunt balance is due by August 1st

  • NO REFUNDS - NO EXCEPTIONS

For your protection, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance in case unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending your hunt.

 Must have liability waiver signed, initialed, and dated before hunting date is guaranteed. Call for Contract to be emailed.

What’s Included

KCW  offers  lodging that is fully equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable during your booked hunt.  Our lodge features  modern amenities, including a fully stocked refrigerator, gas range stove, washer/dryer, large TV, and an outdoor grill and fire pit.

You have the option to stay in our lodge, if you book a hunt with KCW.  There are other options locally,  if you prefer hotel amenities. Ask for a list of hotels in the local area.

(Please note that hunting permits and licenses are NOT included in the hunting price)

**WE do NOT provide transportation to and from hunting locations!

Transportation Details
We can provide a complimentary pickup from the Quincy, Illinois airport. If flying into St. Louis, we recommend arranging a rental service for the approximately two-hour drive to our lodge location and for the week of your hunt.

​ALL Licenses and permits are obtainable through the Illinois DNR. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding the licensing process. We will provide information on how and when to obtain the license, habitat stamp, and deer permit.
